About The Graham & Co.
Martin Torres left advertising. Joe DiThomas left real estate. They had been visiting the Catskills since the mid-1990s and had Airbnb experience in Woodstock before buying The Graham & Co. in 2018 from the Barattini family, who created the property from the former Cobblestone Inn in 2013. Martin describes running the property the way he once pitched campaigns: 'You try to create something spectacular, theatrical, and where every detail matters. In the end, you hope they leave smiling and want to see you again.' The Graham & Co. was featured on Discovery+'s Re-Motel in Season 1, Episode 5. The rooms are spread across three acres in the Catskills, each individually styled with a minimalist aesthetic drawn from 1960s lodge culture. No TVs, by design. Bath products were made in partnership with Babs Mansfield of Phoenicia Soap Co.
What The Graham & Co. Is Known For
The Graham & Co. was the first boutique motel of its kind in this part of the Catskills, created by the Barattini family in 2013 from the former Cobblestone Inn. Martin Torres and Joe DiThomas bought it in 2018 and made it more itself. The bath products are now made in partnership with Babs Mansfield of Phoenicia Soap Co. who also leads scent distillation workshops on the property. The bikes are free. Continental breakfast is included on weekends. No TVs, on principle. The Standard Single is framed around solitude. The Standard Double, with two queens, is designed for togetherness without the interruption of a screen. The Deluxe Single and Deluxe Double add kitchenettes; the Deluxe Double has two queens and is the one dog-friendly room type. The Bungalow is a standalone unit with one queen and two single bunk beds, a full kitchen, a private bath, and a private backyard with its own firepit. The Bunk House Bunk rooms offer two single bunk beds with access to three shared common bathrooms: these work well for families or groups booking alongside a Deluxe Double, with a private bathroom for the adults and a bunk situation for the kids. For a fully private bathroom, book any other room type.

The Esopus runs directly through Phoenicia and is the reason people have been coming to this hamlet for over a century. In summer it's tubing, swimming, and fishing. In fall the foliage over the water makes the drive from the city worth it alone.
Hunter Mountain

The largest ski mountain in the Catskills, with lift-served terrain from November through March and a full summer schedule of concerts and festivals. The Graham & Co. sells ski passes on-site in winter.
Woodstock, NY
