The RSVP Hotel occupies what was the Rainbow Motel, a 1960s roadside property on North 7th Avenue in Midtown Bozeman. Hillary and Haylee Folkvord, sisters raised on a three-generation family farm outside town, bought it in 2018 and rebuilt it into something that reflects the full breadth of their interests: globally-sourced furnishings alongside Montana materials, farm-fresh food in the cafe, champagne on arrival, and a vintage neon sign from the Rainbow Motel kept exactly where it was. The original preserved neon is not nostalgia. It is continuity. The Folkvords are Bozeman people, and the RSVP is a Bozeman hotel: close to downtown, close to the ELM, close to Montana State University, and positioned for Bridger Bowl in winter and Yellowstone in every season.
