About MotoLodge
Cascadia Hospitality co-founders David Mogg, Jeremy Duncan, and Nick Pearson built their reputation on converted motor properties in Oregon: Jupiter Hotel in Portland, Hood River Hotel, and Campfire Hotel in Bend. MotoLodge Pendleton opened in summer 2022 as their first Eastern Oregon property, a full renovation of a 1950s motor lodge on SE Dorion Avenue that had operated as a Knights Inn franchise. Tello Interiors designed it with a spare, confident black-and-white interior that earns its aesthetic rather than borrowing from the motel-revival playbook. Every room opens directly to the parking area. Pendleton sits at the junction of I-84 and the original Oregon Trail corridor and has the bones of a real working Western city.
