About Breezeway Boutique Hotel
Nicola and Maria Bellone, Italian immigrants, bought a property on Winnapaug Road in Misquamicut, Rhode Island in 1970. Their son John was nine months old at the time. Over the following five decades, the family expanded the Breezeway one courtyard at a time, adding rooms, handcrafted fountains, and gardens in a seasonal Atlantic beach town built around family summer traditions. John Bellone now manages the property his parents built. The Breezeway is the kind of place families return to for a generation because the people running it have been there just as long.
